Timberland Subdivision is a 75-acre, 153-lot residential subdivision located in Porter County, Indiana, just outside of Chesterton, Indiana. DG provided topographic surveying, preliminary and final platting, and site planning assistance for the developer/client.
Rittenhouse Senior Living Centers
(Portage and Valparaiso, IN)
Rittenhouse Senior Living Centers provide companion living accommodations for seniors in Northwest Indiana. For the newly opened Valparaiso and Portage locations of Rittenhouse, DG was responsible for the surveying and civil design of the centers including the design of the city boulevard entrance.
Executive Park, PUD
(Valparaiso, Indiana)
Executive Park PUD is a mixed use development located on a 28-acre site, with 28 single-family lots, two multi-family residential lots, and six commercial lots. Executive Park is another development whose civil design and engineering was completed by Duneland Group.
Hawthorne Subdivision
(Valparaiso, Indiana)
Hawthorne is an 82-lot residential subdivision located in Northern Valparaiso that features tree-lined streets and green space mixed in with the homes. DG provided all of the civil design and engineering work for the development from surveying and platting to sewer and storm water system design.
Community Health Systems Porter Hospital Relocation
(Porter County, IN)
The 225-bed, six-floor hospital will span 430,000 square feet (180,000 square feet larger than the current facility) and is projected to open in 2011. For this work-in-progress, Duneland Group is responsible for the civil design and engineering including the design of the storm system, boulevard entrance, parking lots and landscape.
Iron Horse Heritage Trail
(Portage, IN)
Largely a rustic nature trail through woodlands and wetlands, the Iron Horse Heritage Trail runs 5.1 miles with 1.5 miles paved, between Imagination Glen Park (Samuelson Road) and Hamstrom Road in Portage, Indiana. All of the trail design and center line survey work was completed by Duneland Group.
