Duneland Engineers Earn Presby Certification

Presby_8-laying-out-the-enviro-septic-system-150x150.jpgThree engineers at Duneland Group, Inc. (Duneland), a leading Midwest engineering and surveying services provider, recently earned certification by Presby Environmental Inc. (PEI), to design and install the Presby Enviro-Septic Wastewater Treatment System. Nick Ray, Scott Civanich and Paula Armour all passed with 90% and higher scores and are now able to design and install this cutting-edge, environmentally responsible technology.

PEI is an environmental organization that engineers new wastewater treatment technology. Founded in 1995 by inventor David Presby, the organization is also involved in developing cutting edge water pollution control technologies to help protect and preserve natural resources.

“Indiana requires all designers and installers to be certified,” said Charles Ray, owner and CEO, Duneland. “But it goes deeper than that for Duneland because we believe in the overall environmental vision of PEI and its products and services,” Ray added. “This new technology is an alternative to conventional leach field systems, is lower in cost and is also environmentally responsible. You can’t ask for much more.”

PEI is committed to environmental protection in many ways, including:

  • Recycling and conservation in the manufacturing process
  • Installations that minimize impact to the site
  • Conservation of soil and groundwater through superior passive wastewater treatment
  • Utilizing natural processes, requiring no energy consumption
